Coventry Sphinx v Cradley Town (Final Home Game)

Aspire Midland Alliance

Saturday 18th April 3.00pm kick off at Sphinx Drive

Paul Charnley takes charge of his final home game as manager of Coventry Sphinx on Saturday when Cradley Town are the visitors to Sphinx Drive.

Having only taken one win from their last eight games Charnley is determined to end the season on a high and secure a place in the top 6 of the Midland Alliance where his team have spent the majority of the season saying, "Prior to the second leg of the semi final against Market Drayton we had won five on the bounce and confidence was high, since then we have looked a shadow of the side I know we can be and I'm looking for that to change over our remaining games"

Charnley admits that it will be emotional for him on Saturday but is concentrating on getting 3 points saying, "Obviously it will be a bit weird being my last game at Sphinx Drive but I'm determined to go out on a high and ensure that we get a win on Saturday and in the remaining two away fixtures so that we can get ourselves back into the top six."
