The centre half has battled his way through to the last thirty two and the weekend trials at Lilleshall were for a place in the final squad.
Craig has been in fine form for Sphinx's youth team which made the first round of the FA Youth Cup. This form has seen him catch the eye of first team manager Paul Charnley who gave Craig a first team debut before Christmas.
