Coventry City U18's captain Jordan Willis has been called up for England U18's

The central defender, who has made a couple of substitute first team appearances for City has been called into the England U18's squad for the friendly against Poland at Crewe on Wednesday March 7th.

Coventry City Academy Boss Gregor Rioch has admitted his delight at  Willis' call up and said to Sky Blue Player: "What Jordan has achieved in such a short space of time is remarkable.

"It was a big blow for him being released by Birmingham City but since we brought him in as an apprentice what he has showed us makes him one of the hardest workers I have ever come across and he deserves what has come his way recently.

"That's why he is the Under 18s captain. He represents everything we're about at the academy and he's a shining example to anybody who wants to achieve in football.

"He's one of these players who works on his game even when you can't see him. He puts in that bit extra and this call up is a reward for him and his ability and achievements over the past couple of years. We're all very proud of him."
