Coventry City U23's coach Jason Farndon has said he was happy with the result as the Sky Blues beat Colchester United U23's 4-1 at the Ricoh Arena this afternoon.
Farndon told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “I wasn’t quite happy with the tempo of the game but I thought we were much better in the second half, getting after the ball in and out of possession.
“But it’s always a difficult one when you put out a strong side and think you should beat them easily because it never translates like that.
“We had a lot of chances, probably should have won by more but I am happy with the result.”
