Coventry City U18's put in a better second half performance and came back to earn a 2-2 draw against Norwich City.

Ricky Martin's side were on the attack from the start and they went ahead in the ninth minute when Patrick Demola raced through and hit a right- footed shot from the edge of the area which took a deflection and looped into the net.

In the 23rd minute, Norwich hit a second thanks to a penalty being slotted home by George Francomb after Jordan Clarke had been adjudged to have shoved Josh Dawkin.

The Sky Blues started to come back with a free kick and corner flying just past Remi Matthews goal.

Shaun Jeffers had a 31st minute shot saved and the Sky Blues had two more chances before the break but it had not been good and Greg Rioch kept his players on the pitch for the interval. His talk did the trick and the Sky Blues were much better in the second half.

They were denied a goal in the 68th minute when a Cyrus Christie free kick was pushed onto the bar for a corner by Matthews and it looked likely that a defeat was looming but with ten minutes left, Callum Wilson centred for Josh Raffels to score from the edge of the area.

Lifted by this, City kept up the pressure and Shaun Jeffers broke clear to cooly slot past Matthews to earn a pleasing draw.
