Coventry City U23's were beaten 2-0 at Burnley this afternoon.
Jason Farndon was able to include the likes of Tom Davies, Dominic Hyam and Stuart Beavon plus trialist Zane Westbrook for this game at Burnley's new training ground and against a Clarets side which included internationals Tom Heaton and Jon Walters.
City, in theIr grey away kit, lost Beavon to an injury in the sixth minute in a first half where there were not any goals.
Burnley took the lead in the 72nd minute when Olatunde Bayode scored direct from a corner and in stoppage time, Ntumba Messanka headed home to send City, who have home games against Barnsley and QPR to play, to a 2-0 defeat.
