City U21's Lose At Birmingham City

Coventry City U21's were beaten 2-1 at Birmingham City this afternoon.

City U21's boss Lee Glover was able to field Arron Martin and Gaei Bigirimana in his starting eleven with trialist Charles Weston-Hayles, who was at Stoke City on the bench.

City went in to this game at Wast Hills ninth in the table with Birmingham City bottom in eleventh place and there were no goals in the opening forty five minutes.

There was twelve minutes left when Birmingham City took the lead when Viv Solomon-Otabor tore down the right and was allowed to cut inside and send a shot into the far corner of the net.

In the 82nd minute, Jack Finch equalised for City but six minutes later, Alex Jones side-footed home to give Birmingham City the win .
