Coventry City U18's got their pre-season campaign off to a winning start this afternoon at Burton Park Wanderers.
City travelled to the UCL side from Burton Latimer near Kettering and two goals from Lewis Rankin and one from Billy Daniels gave Gregor Ricoh's team a 3-1 first half lead.
The Sky Blues with new boy Jemal Wiseman playing well in a good team performance, had four or five good chances in the second half but could not add any more goals to their tally.
