Coventry City U18's coach Jason Farndon has described his side's 2-1 win at Birmingham City as a great performance.
Speaking to Keiran Crowley, Farndon said: "It was a great performance and I'm delighted with the result considering it is our first game after the Christmas break.
"We were tactically aware today and against a good side it puts us in a good place going into Wednesday's game against Manchester City in the FA Youth Cup.
"The boys have shown they're ready for the fight here today. It's a 2-1 win in a local derby, we can't complain."
