Coventry City supporters planning on watching the Sky Blues at Gillingham on August 25th are advised that to  use the Dartford crossing, you need to pay in advance to a payment scheme called Dart Charge.

You must pay for a crossing in advance or by midnight the day after crossing. You can do this using a pre-pay account, which saves you up to a third on every crossing, or by making a one-off payment.

You can make a one-off payment:

You can avoid the bridge/tunnel and the charges altogether, by taking the M1 to junction 6A and then taking the M11, onto the A406 S and then the A13 / Newham Way. After 3.5miles, take the sliproad left to A102 / Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach towards Isle of Dogs / Canary Wharf / C London  and then on to the A2. At junction 1, take sliproad left to A289 towards Grain / Gillingham and follow to Gillingham.
