Network Coventry Buses For a Match Day

There have been are major changes to many bus routes in Coventry.

The changes started on February 26th and will affect those who use certain buses to get to and from Coventry City FC and Coventry Sphinx FC home matches.

The 101 service from Pool Meadow to the Ricoh Arena will still be running.

However, you can catch the Network Coventry 4,5, 6, 13. 20,40, the De Courcey 701,703 and 704, plus the Stage Coach 48, 56 and 57 to get to the Ricoh Arena.

The 4 now goes from Walsgrave Hospital to the Ricoh Arena Retail Park via Ball Hill. Services leave the hospital every fifteen minutes past the hour on a Saturday. Buses back after a game are at 17.07 and 17.27.

The 5 now runs from Tile Hill Village, Torrington Avenue to the Ricoh Arena Retail Park via Canley Train Station, Earlsdon, Pool Meadow and Coundon. Services Leave Torrington Ave at 11 mins and 41 past the hour on a Saturday. Buses back after a game are at 16.58 and 17.33.

The 6 runs to Tanyard Farm via Pool Meadow to Little Heath. The buses leave Pool Meaow at 13 mins, 33 mins and 53 mins past the hour on a Saturday and you need to get off at Proffitt Avenue, then walk down Gayer Street and Old Church Road, before crossing over onto the Foleshill Road and following that towards the Ricoh Arena.

The number 13 bus goes from Willenhall to Whitmore Park via Binley Road, The Burges and Jubilee Crescent. The bus leaves The Burges every ten minutes on a Saturday. Get off at the Nunts Lane terminus and go over the railway crossing and turn right into Wheelwright Lane. Follow that down to the Ricoh Arena.

The 20 goes from Trinity Street to Bedworth and there is a service every ten minutes on a Saturday. Get off by the Tescos at the Arena Retail Park. Coming back the buses are the same frequency.

The 701 De Courcey bus goes from Allesley Park to the Arena Retail Park. Services are every thirty minutes on the hour on a Saturday and the ones coming back are at 17.00 and 17.45.

The 703 De Courcey bus goes from Walsgrave Hospital to the Arena Retail Park via Attoxhall Road and Sewall Highway. Buses are at 20 and 50 mins past the hour and 17.14 and 17.44 back after the match.

The 48 goes between Coventry and Leicester and goes every twenty minutes. Get off Tescos at the Arena Retail Park.

Those going to see Coventry Sphinx at Sphinx Drive can get the 13 from the Burges (Direction Willenhall) and then walk down Bulls Heads Lane before turning second left into Siddley Avenue and then immediately left into Sphinx Drive or get 16A from Pool Meadow and get off in Aldermoor Lane, then walk back down Bulls Head Lane before turning right into Siddley Avenue and then Sphinx Drive. Buses leave Pool Meadow at 16 mins, 36 mins and 56 mins past the hour.
