NUNEATON TOWN V COVENTRY CITY 

SATURDAY JULY 19TH AT 3PM

AT LIBERTY WAY, ATTLEBOROUGH INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, NUNEATON, CV11 6RR

TRAVEL

BY CAR

​Leave the M6 at Junction 3. Go onto the A444 to Nuneaton. Go straight at first mini roundabout then when you reach the Griff Roundabout, proceed onto the A444 to Nuneaton. Go straight at the next mini roundabout, then you will reach another roundabout, with a large Stone in the middle and a Yellow bridge. Go straight at this roundabout. At the Next roundabout next to Cotton Arches take the 2nd exit onto Avenue Road.

​Follow this road until you get to the next roundabout where you should go straight on, onto Eastboro Way. Go over the bridge and you will come to a mini island (next to The Crows Nest Pub) go straight on. Take a left at the next roundabout onto Townsend Drive, then take the next right onto Liberty Way. Gates are straight ahead.

​From the M1

​Exit the M1 at Junction 21. Then at the roundabout go onto the M69. Exit the M69 at the Junction 1 for the A5, Nuneaton and Hinckley. Leave the roundabout and turn right, join the A5 Watling Street to Nuneaton. Then stay on the road until you see signs for A47 Nuneaton and take a left next to the Longshoot Pub (use filter road). You will reach a roundabout at the end of the A47. Take a left onto Eastboro Way. (Nuneaton RFC signposted and a Somerfield and The Acorn Pub are on the right of Eastboro Way). You will then see the ground on your right. At the mini roundabout take a right onto Townsend Drive and the next Right onto Liberty Way. Gates are straight ahead.

​Using Public Transport

​If you are arriving by Train, you need to go to Nuneaton train station. This is then about a 5 minute taxi journey from the ground and should cost around £10 depending on the time of the day.

M42, to M5 to Junction 8, then M50. At Roundabout, take first exit on to A40, Then through three roundabouts and onto the A449 into Newport and follow below directions

​Exit junction 25a from the M4, Take 1st exit off roundabout onto Heidenheim Way. Take 1st exit off flyover, Take 2nd exit off roundabout, At next Roundabout take 1st Exit across River Usk bridge. At next traffic lights bear right onto Chepstow Road. Take 1st right onto Cedar Road. . Take 1st right onto Corporation Road. Take 1st left onto Grafton Road. Rodney Parade is on your left hand side.

LEAMINGTON FC V COVENTRY CITY X1

TRAVEL

​ROAD

Take M42 to Junction 3A and travel southbound on M40. Exit at Junction 14 and follow A452 towards Leamington. Continue straight ahead at 1st roundabout and at following roundabout take 2nd exit A452 (Europa Way) towards Leamington. At next roundabout take 4th exit (Harbury Lane) signposted Harbury and Bishops Tachbrook. At next roundabout take 3rd exit continuing on Harbury Lane. At traffic lights continue straight ahead into Harbury Lane. Ground is 1.5 miles on left.

From South: 

Take M40 northbound and exit at Junction 13. Turn right onto A452 towards Leamington. At 1st roundabout take 3rd exit A452 (Europa Way) towards Leamington. At next roundabout take 4th exit (Harbury Lane) signposted Harbury and Bishops Tachbrook. At next roundabout take 3rd exit continuing on Harbury Lane. At traffic lights continue straight ahead into Harbury Lane. Ground is 1.5 miles on left.

​From Leamington Town Centre: 

Follow signs to Whitnash and Bishops Tachbrook (B4087) Tachbrook Road for approximately 2 miles. At traffic lights turn left into Harbury Lane. Ground is 1.5 miles on left.

​Alternative Directions: 

Go to M6 Junction 2 and take A46 (Coventry Eastern By-Pass). Follow A46 until you reach junction with A45. Turn left on to A45. Shortly afterwards follow signs for A423 towards Southam and Banbury. Follow A423 for 3.3 miles until you reach B4455 (Fosse Way). Take B4455 signposted Cirencester and continue until you reach roundabout at junction with A425. Continue B4455 and after approximately 1.5 miles you will pass under a railway bridge. Travel a further .5 of a mile and turn right at crossroads into Harbury Lane, signposted Leamington and Warwick. Ground is .5 mile on right.

Take great care at the ground entrance. Harbury Lane is a fast road with many cars overtaking so look BOTH ways when you exit at the end of the match.

​RAIL TRAVEL

​Railway Station: Leamington (BR) railway station is about three miles miles from the ground.

WEDNESDAY JULY 30TH AT 7.30PM

AT BOREHAM WOOD FC, MEADOW PARK, Broughinge Road, Boreham Wood, Herts WD6 5AL

Travel

M1 to junction 7, then A414. At the roundabout, take the 3rd3rd  exit onto exit onto Watling St/A5183Watling St/A5183. After 3.8 miles and having gone through three roundabouts, At the roundabout, take the 1st1st  exit onto exit onto Theobald StTheobald St. Go through four roundabouts and at the first roundabout take the first exit on to Gateshead Road. After 0.3 miles, take the third exit at roundabout into Brook Road and after half a mile turn left in to Broughinge Road for the ground.

A1 towards London from M25, first turn off for Boreham Wood, head for town centre, into Brook Road at roundabout before town centre, Broughinge Road is first right. One mile from Elstree and Boreham Wood station.

By Train - You can catch the train out of ‘St Pancras International’ to ‘Elstree and Borehamwood’. When you come out of the train station, turn right and walk down Borehamwood High Street until you come to McDonalds on your left. Turn left into Brook Road.

TRAVEL

BY CAR FROM THE SOUTH, WEST OR EAST

Whether you're coming from east or west exit the M4 at junction 19 and join the M32. Travel along the M32 for 3.1 miles until you reach junction 2. Here, exit the motorway and take the third exit signposted Horfield and Southmead and follow the road through a division and a roundabout both of which have clear signs reading "The Memorial Stadium". Once through this area you join Muller Road and you should continue to drive along it for 1.4 miles until you come to signal-controlled crossroads. Signposted right is Horfield Health Centre and Library. At this junction ignore the sign and turn left into Filton Avenue where the ground is located almost immediately on the left.

​BY CAR FROM THE NORTH & MIDLANDS

Exit the M5 at junction 16 signposted A38 Thornbury and Filton. At the roundabout head right signposted A38 Filton and join the A38. Travel along the A38 (Gloucester Road) for 4.3 miles as you enter the outer suburbs of Bristol. On your trip you'll pass Filton Airport on your right, the Royal Mail sorting office and the Royal George and Wellington pubs. At a set of traffic lights immediately past a small shop called Satellite Warehouse and before a timber outlet take an unsignposted left turn into Filton Avenue where you'll see the ground is on your right after just a couple of dozen yards.

​PARKING

You should be able to park in Filton Avenue

​PUBLIC TRANSPORT 

From the city centre a number of buses run up Gloucester Road and along Filton Avenue directly past the Memorial Stadium. Detailed timetables and bus numbers can be found at the http://www.firstgroup.com/index.php website. Trains also run from the city's main station, Bristol Temple Meads, to Montpelier (less than two miles from the stadium) and to Bristol Parkway (a similar distance). Timetables for trains can be found at the http://www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk/ website.

A taxi to the Memorial Stadium from the city centre is likely to cost around £8, although with a standing charge of not much less than £3 wherever you get your taxi from, it's likely to make little difference if you catch a taxi if this is your preferred method of transport.

​TRAVEL

​By Car

​Approach Stevenage on the A1(M). Take the Stevenage South (A602) exit off the A1(M). Go straight over the first roundabout, second exit. The Lamex Stadium is on the right, third exit, at the second roundabout.

​There is a large free car park opposite the stadium.

​By Train

Train from Coventry to London Euston, then walk to Kings Cross Station and get a train to Stevenage. Plenty of trains to get you to the game and back.
