Coventry City season ticket holders who sit in the Jewson Stand next to the away fans are being re-allocated seats for the whole of new season.

The club have already contacted supporters which number around a hundred to explain this decision and have offered them an alternative choice of seat at no extra cost.

The club said on their website that: "The decision to move season ticket holders who sit in the Jewson Stand has been taken primarily to improve health and safety at the Ricoh Arena and to reduce stewarding and policing costs, which rise significantly when the stand is occupied by both home and away supporters."
