From either the East or West via the M62: Spotland Stadium is just over two miles from junction 20 of the M62. Follow signs for Rochdale along the A627(M). At the first set of traffic lights keep left, sign posted Bury and Rochdale Town Centre. B&Q will be on your right hand side, follow this road until the next set of traffic lights. Here you need to be in the second lane of four lanes, to head straight across (sign posted Blackburn). Follow this road (Roch Valley Way) until the next set of traffic lights, remaining in the left hand lane. At the traffic lights go straight ahead on to Sandy Lane (the Cemetery pub should be on your right hand side). Continue along this road and the Stadium is on your right hand side after approximately half a mile.

By Rail Rochdale train station, which is served by trains from Manchester Victoria and Leeds, is about 2 miles and 35 minute walk from Spotland. Taxis are available outside the station at a cost of around £6/£7.

- Wheelchair Users are charged the concession price with the carer free of charge.  

- Ambulant Disabled are charged the appropriate rate for their ticket however, should they need a full time carer to accompany them, the carer is admitted free of charge. Proof of carer status or higher band of disability is required.

THE LAST TIME
Tuesday night will see Coventry City’s third league game at Rochdale. 

City have not won a league or cup match at Spotland and lost 4-1 in a league fixture in 1925 and lost 1-0 last season thanks to an Ian Henderson penalty.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The currently appointed referee for Coventry City’s League One game at Rochdale AFC is Mark Haywood from West Yorkshire. 

The father of four daughters, Mark started refereeing in 1993 after moaning at work to a colleague who was a referee about refereeing decisions he had seen over a weekend. He was eventually challenged to have a go and reached the National List of assistant referees in 2002. Four seasons later, he was promoted to the National List of Referees.

His last City game was the 2-1 defeat at Scunthorpe United on September 16th 2014 when he sent off Reda Johnson.

Other City games he has been in charge of are; the 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on December 31st 2011, the 2-1 defeat at QPR in January 2011 and previous City games are the 1-0 home defeat to Hartlepool in the League Cup in August 2009, the 2-0 FA Cup home win over Kidderminster Harriers in January 2009 and the 1-1 home draw with Swansea City in November 2008.

His assistants are: Barry Cropp and Scott Oldham. The Fourth Official  is Alan Clayton.
