TRAVEL
By Car

Leave the M1 at Junction 2 and onto the A1, following the signs for City (Central London). Keep going on the A1 for around six miles, until you see Holloway Road Tube Station on your right. Take the next left at the traffic lights into Hornsey Road and the stadium is about a 1/4 of a mile further down this road.

There is little parking at the stadium itself or in nearby streets. An extensive residents only parking scheme operates around the stadium on matchdays. It's probably better to park further out of London around a tube station such as Cockfosters and get the tube to the ground.

By Tube and Rail
Arsenal (Piccadilly Line) is the nearest tube station, around three minutes walk from the ground. Finsbury Park (Victoria, Piccadilly Lines and Great Northern rail) and Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line, North London Line and Great Northern rail) stations are around a 10-minute walk - these should be slightly less crowded.

King's Cross is the main connecting station for national rail and many underground lines. From here you can travel to the ground via the Piccadilly Line (to Arsenal) or the Victoria Line (to Highbury & Islington). Alternatively, a short overground rail journey of one stop will take you to Finsbury Park station.

Bus is a fast and convenient option with connections passing the ground on all sides. Main bus stops are located on Holloway Road, Nag's Head, Seven Sisters Road, Blackstock Road and Highbury Corner. High frequency services will take you within a five to 10 minute walk of the ground and direct routes cover much of north and central London.

Further information on buses is available through www.tfl.gov.uk

THE LAST TIME
This is the 75th League and Cup game between Arsenal and Coventry City. The Sky Blues have won fourteen and drawn nineteen, scoring 60 goals to Arsenal's 121.

The last time the sides met in a League Cup tie was on November 18th 1997 when an extra time goal from Denis Bergkamp gave Arsenal a 1-0 win.

The last time City play at Arsenal was in the Premier League on September 16 2000 when they went down to a 2-1 defeat.

City have never played at the Emirates Stadium before but famous City wins at Highbury include a Mick Quinn hat-trick in a 3-0 romp on August 14th 1993, Lee Dixon lobbing his own keeper in a 2-1 win for City in 1992 and Dave Bamber firing home on a very wet day in October 1983.

Coventry's heaviest defeat at Arsenal was a 6-1 loss on May 11th 1991.
