​Crewe Alexandra Football Club can be accessed by two junctions off the M6, but please note that it is easier to get here by leaving at junction 16.​

​Exit the M6 and follow signs for Crewe on the A500 and then the A5020, at the roundabout take the 3rd exit and continue to the next roundabout, take the first exit continuing to follow signs for Crewe Town Centre and Crewe Railway Station.

​​Pass Crewe Hall on your right, and at the next roundabout continue forward down Weston Road. Away supporters parking can be found on the industrial estate on Weston Road, this is approximately a ten minute walk to the ground. If you continue down to the roundabout this will take you towards the ground, take the first left at the roundabout and continue past the train station. Take the second left down Gresty Road and continue down to the junction and the ground is on your left​

Coventry City supporters can buy tickets on the day of the game. Tickets are available from the away ticket office from 12noon.

THE LAST TIME
Saturday will see Coventry City’s 12th visit to Crewe Alexandra.  

The Sky Blues have won on three occasions in league and cup matches, with two draws and six defeats and have scored 18 goals to Crewe’s 19. 

City’s last win in a league game was on March 29th 2014 and saw a 2-1 win. 

Last season, City were beaten 2-1 with Crewe taking a two goal first half lead through Brandy in the 29th minute and Cooper three minutes later. Coventry’s goal came from a 48th minute Antony Grant own goal.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The currently appointed referee for Coventry City’s League One game at Crewe Chesterfield is Mark Haywood from West Yorkshire. 

The father of four daughters, Mark started refereeing in 1993 after moaning at work to a colleague who was a referee about refereeing decisions he had seen over a weekend. He was eventually challenged to have a go and reached the National List of assistant referees in 2002. Four seasons later, he was promoted to the National List of Referees.

His last City game was the 0-0 draw at Rochdale back in October and other City games he has been in charge of are the 2-1 defeat at Scunthorpe United on September 16th 2014 when he sent off Reda Johnson, the 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on December 31st 2011, the 2-1 defeat at QPR in January 2011 and previous City games are the 1-0 home defeat to Hartlepool in the League Cup in August 2009, the 2-0 FA Cup home win over Kidderminster Harriers in January 2009 and the 1-1 home draw with Swansea City in November 2008.

His assistants are: Ravel Cheosiaua and Chris Isherwood. The Fourth Official is Richard Bartlett.
