THE LAST TIME
Coventry City will face Lewes for the first time in a WPL Southern League fixture on Sunday.

In their wisdom, the FA have decided to not to allow the Sky Blues to join the Womens Super League and then scrapped the WPL Premier League which City had been playing in, replacing it with a two division Northern and Southern section and placing the Sky Blues in the Southern section.

The Sussex based side finished fifth in the FA Women’s Premier League Southern Division last season, as well as reaching the last sixteen 16 of the FA Women’s League Cup.
