Charlton Athletic retained their U18's League 2 Champions tonight with a penalties win over Sheffield United.

The visitors to the Valley struck first with a Jordan Haslam strike in the sixth minute.

In the 89th minute, Karlan Ahearne-Grant equalised to send the tie to extra time.

That failed to produce a goal so it was down to penalties.

Brown scored for United first with Karlan Ahearne-Grant equalising. United keeper Ramsdale stepped up and scored as did Bone for Charlton.

Semple scored a third spot kick with Charlton skipper Lapslie also finding the net.

Brodie Litchfield stepped up but Beeney saved before Konsa scored for Charlton.

Shea Gordon took United's fifth penalty needing to score but Beeney saved again and Charlton won 4-3 on penalties to win the U18's League 2 National Play-Off Final for a second successive year.
