Coventry Blaze were back to winning ways with a 4-3 victory over Cardiff Devils tonight.
At a packed Sky Dome, Coventry took the lead with a powerplay goal from Adam Calder, assisted by Dan Carlson and Russ Cowley on 16.27 and on 17.12, Calder helped to set up Greg Owen for a second.
Owen hit a third on 24.02, assisted by Brad Cruickshank and Adam Calder but back came Cardiff.
The Welshman scored their first goal through enforcer Brad Voth on 33.07 and five minutes later, Ryan Finnerty added a second.
Into the third and Tylor Michel levelled it on 44.45 but on 48.06, Jon Weaver hit the winner, assisted by Joe Henry and Russ Cowley.
On Wednesday, it is the second leg of the Best of British clash against Sheffield Scimitars before a trip to Nottingham Panthers on Saturday and a home game against Sheffield Steelers.
