Coventry residents were left shaking after a tremor hit Coventry.

The tremor occured just before 1am and saw house walls and windows right across the city shake for about fifteen-twenty seconds. There were no power outages that some elsewhere have suffered and no reports of structural damage.

The tremor, whose epicentre was 15 miles north of Lincoln and measured 4.7 (later uograded to 5.2)on the Richter scale, was felt right across the country.

The last tremor felt in Cov was in 2002 when the epicentre was in Dudley.
