Storm Blown Away In Kent

Coventry Storm Speedway Team were beaten 53-37 at Kent Kings this evening.

The Storm were hit by injuries and brought in Sam Chapman, Adam Shepard and Brendan Johnson as guests and had rider replacement for Oliver Greenwood for this meeting at Central Park.

They went down to a 5-1 in the first heat and but Ryan Terry-Daley and Martin Knuckey pulled that back in the second with a 5-1 of their own.

After a 3-3, Kent took two 5-1's before Johnson won in heat six for a 4-2 to the Storm.

Three 3-3's were followed by a 4-2 to Kent and after another 3-3 in heat eleven, Kent went ten points ahead with a 4-2 in heat twelve.

A re-run heat thirteen gave Kent another 4-2 and after a 3-3, the home side finished with a 5-1 to send the makeshift Storm to a sixteen points defeat.

KENT 53: David Mason 13+1, Ben Morley 13+1, Ben Hopwood 8+1, Aaron Baseby 7, Luke Chessell 6+1, Danny Ayres 5+2, Luke Harris 1+1.
