Standing Room Only For The Blaze
Feature by PM
Updated Friday, 5th February 2010
Nearly a sell out for Blaze game

It's now virtually standing room only for Sunday's massive game between the Blaze and the Panthers.

But don't let that put you off - there are also a few single seats around if you want to come along and make a new friend and there are still standing tickets available for those who like to get up close and personal to the action. Whether you get a seat or a standing ticket, just be there. This is going to be a fantastic sporting event and one not to be missed!

Book NOW by calling the box office on 02476 630693 or book online anytime by clicking HERE. Tickets booked online can be collected from the Skydome Arena when you arrive for the game.

Blaze put Radio 2 Breakfast Show stars Chris Evans and Johnny Saunders through their paces

Radio 2 breakfast show presenters, Chris Evans and Johnny Saunders took the ice on Wednesday afternoon for the latest in their series of Breakfast Sporting Challenges - and who better to show them the ropes than Coventry Blaze and Great Britain Head Coach, Paul Thompson.

Thommo and six of the stars of the Blaze - Peter Hirsch, Tom Murdy, Derek Campbell, Brian Lee, Danny Stewart and Russ Cowley - ventured to the Lee Valley Ice Centre in London to spend four hours on the ice with the radio stars to see which of the two presenters would come out on top in the Challenge.

After dressing the pair in full hockey kit, Thommo put them through a series of drills which culminated in a game with one presenter and three Blaze players on each side. The Blaze Head Coach was marking Chris and Johnny's performance based on shooting, passing and skating with Paul finally declaring one of the pair the winner of the Breakfast Sporting Challenge!
