Coventry Sphinx play the biggest game in their Cup history tomorrow when they meet Salford City in the FA Vase, just a week after the last game was postponed.

Salford are flying high at the top of the first division of the North West Counties League and Sphinx boss Paul Charnley knows that his side will have to be at the top of the game in order to collect the £1500 prize money and move within three games of the final at Wembley.

Said Sphinx boss Paul Charnley:"We are excited about the biggest match in Sphinx's history and we aim to make it a day to remember for all the right reasons.

"We've had Salford watched on a couple of occasions and they are certainly a very good side. But we will prepare thoroughly as it means so much to progress. "

Sphinx were thwarted in their efforts to move the game from the same day when the Sky Blues are at home and are still hoping for a big gate.

Admission is £5 for adults, concessions £2.50 and £1.50 for a programme.

Kick off at Sphinx Drive is at 3pm
