Leicestershire Police are investigating Hinckley United Football Club.
The club are being investigated over reports of business irregularities and a police spokeswomen confirmed: "Police have commenced an investigation into reports of business irregularities. Officers were contacted on Tuesday, September 24, regarding the business based in Hinckley.
“Enquiries are in their very early stages therefore we are unable to confirm any further details at this stage.”
