Nuneaton Draw As Bedworth And Leamington Exit Cup

Two goals from Wesley York earned Nuneaton Town a 2-2 draw at Hyde United.

A 35 yarder from Adam Griffin in the 19th minute had put Hyde ahead before well travelled Phil Jevons hit a second in the 65th minute.

Then enter Wesley York who scored in the 74th and 75th minutes to give Nuneaton a share of the points.

Bedworth United are out of the FA Cup after a 3-2 defeat at Barwell. 

Spacey fired Barwell ahead just before the interval but Robinson levelled in the 70th minute and then Westley hit a second for the Greenbacks in the 75th minute. 

However, Barwell hit back. Wheel made it 2-2 in the 80th minute and five minutes from time, Lower scored the winner.

Leamington also went out of the FA Cup with 3-2 defeat at Corby Town. Dodd put the Brakes ahead in the third minute. Only for McGowan to level on 37 and Moreman to score twice in the 48th and 79th minute. Adkins scored a second for Leamington in stoppage time but it was not enough to prevent a cup exit.

Midland Combination Premier Division side Nuneaton Griff put up a good fight at home to much higher Hednesford Town but went down to a 3-2 defeat.

In the Midland Alliance, hat-tricks from Tony Robinson and Chris Lait helped Stratford Town to a 9-0 home win over Continental Star.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Coventry Copsewood drew 3-3 with Bromsgrove Sporting. Lee Knibbs' Southam United won 2-1 at Lichfield City, Atherstone Town drew 1-1 at Littleton whilst Racing Club Warwick beat Brocton 2-0.
