Nuneaton Come Back To Win

Nuneaton Town came back to beat Tamworth 2-1 in a Boxing Day game at Liberty Way.

Tom Wright fired The Lambs ahead in the 34th minute, before Adam Walker missed a penalty.

With six minutes remaining, Adam Brown fired Kevin Wilkins side level and in stoppage time, James Armson converted a penalty to give Nuneaton the win.

Leamington went down to a 3-0 defeat at Banbury United in a Southern League Premier Division fixture.

A crowd of 465 saw Bridge put the Puritans ahead in the 34th minute, with Skendi hitting a second in the 49th minute. With twenty minutes left, Banbury were awarded a penalty and Bridge scored for a 3-0 win.

Bedworth United drew 1-1 with Barwell at The Oval.

Hadland had put Barwell ahead in the 47th minute but former Coventry City youngster David Blenkinsopp equalised for the Greenbacks in the second minute of stoppage time.
