Nuneaton Back With A Win

Nuneaton Town are back to winning ways after a 2-0 win over Stockport County at Liberty Way.

Nuneaton, who fielded Kevin Malaga, plus former City players Stephen O'Halloran and Adam Walker, took the lead through Andy Brown on the stroke of half-time.

Eight minutes from time, Adam Walker converted a penalty, following the bringing down of Gareth Dean.

A crowd of 707 at The New Windmill saw Leamington FC beat St Neots Town 3-0. Daly scored in the third minute, Morley added a second in the 14th and six minutes later, Chilton hit the third.

Bedworth United drew their Southern League Premier Division home fixture with Gosport Borough. Bennett put the Hampshire side ahead in the 23rd minute but Mitch Piggon levelled with a penalty five minutes later.

Rugby Town's home game with Royston Town was abandoned due to a floodlight failure. It is the second time in two months that the lights have gone out at Butlin Road and the game has had to be abandoned.
