Coventry Rugby Club followed up last week's win at Blaydon with a home 36-25 victory against Macclesfield.

Phil Maynard's side were watched by a crowd of 847 and were five points down after nine minutes when F.Mulchrone ran in a try.

However on twenty minute, Coventry were back when Luke Myring kicked a penalty and ten minutes later, send a conversion over the posts at the Butts Park Arena after a Tibbats try.

Before half time, both Parkin (33 mins) and O'Connor (37 mins) had scored tries for Coventry with Myring converting.

Into the second half and Fowles ran in a 44th minute try for Macclesfield. Five minutes later and Coventry did the same with Barker on the scoresheet and Myring converting.

Winney kicked a 52nd minute penalty for Macclesfield and then Davenport ran home a try.

C.Mulchrone scored a 70th minute try which Winney converted and two minutes later, a good win was completed by Stevens scoring Coventry's fifth try of the game with Myring converting to take his points tally in the game to eleven.
