England Ton For Bell

Coventry kid Ian Bell scored 126 runs for England against India in the First One Day International today.

At the Rose Bowl, Bell finished on 126 not out as England made a score of 288-2 in their fifty overs. Alistair Cook also made a century.

India were 32-4 at one point but were evenutally skittled out for 184 to give England a win by 104 runs with Jimmy Anderson taking four wickets.

Jon Trott has been dropped by Warwickshire for the County Championship game starting at Scarborough tomorrow. Trott showed some good early form but this has tailed off and he has paid the penalty. Michael Powell will replace him.

Meanwhile,Jim Troughton and Tim Gronevald have both signed two year contract extensions.
