Crutchlow Forced To Retire From Italian GP

Coventry's MotoGP rider Cal Crutchlow was forced to retire from the Italian GP this afternoon in Mugello.

Crutchlow started 14th but developed front tyre problems for the second time in two races and had to retire.

Jorge Lorenzo chased after Casey Stoner who had taken poll and took the lead with six laps to go.

After the race, Crutchlow hit back at those who accused him of pulling out by tweeting: "We lost 2 seasion at a track i didnt know at all. "Do people think I wanted to travel all the way here,spend a weekend and pull out?Get real …"
