Coventry Charity Cup Holders Through

Alveston are through to the Third Round of the Coventry Charity Football Cup after a 2-1 home second round win over Bulkington.

The winners of last year's final at Coventry City's Ricoh Arena, scored their goals through M.Layton and D.Humphries.

Also through to the Third Round are Stockton who beat Brooklands-Jaguar 2-1. Stockton's goals came from Willington and Cole with a C.Williams goal in reply for Brookies.

In the Third Round, Shane Brassington hit a hat-trick for Highway Coundon Court in a 4-1 win at Coventry Colliery. Shane Crean scored the other goal for the visitors with former Coventry City youngster Andrew Lovelock on target for Colliery.

The outstanding Second Round game between Stockingford and Coventry Copsewood will be played on Saturday December 11th with the winners playing away at Alveston on or before January 8th 2011.

Other Round Three matches on December 11th are Hawkesmill Sports versus Stockton and Kenilworth Town V Massey Ferguson.
