Coventry Blaze Beat The Panthers

Coventry Blaze beat Nottingham Panthers 4-3 tonight in an Elite League game.

At the Sky Dome tonight, the Blaze took the lead on 16.07 when Robert Farmer scored, assisted by Bryan Jurynec who had not long ocme back on to the ice after getting five minutes for fighting with Guillaume Lepine and Dustin Wood.

Then in the 19th minute, Shea Guthrie made it 2-0 when he fired home a powerplay goal, assisted by Jon Weaver.

Coventry had the first period but the second belonged to the Panthers who scored on 31.11 through David Beauregard and then tied the game on 36.35 through Jordan Fox.

A minute and 28 seconds into the third period, Luke Fulghum scored a powerplay goal, assisted by Matic Kralj and Shea Guthrie to put the Blaze back in front.

On 49.49, Fulghum made it 4-2, assisted by Owen Fussey and Greg Owen and although David Beauregard scored a powerplay goal on 57.01, the Blaze held on to win.
