Coventry Bees were back to winning ways with a 47-42 victory at Wolves tonight.

At Monmore Green tonight, Chris Harris and Adam Roynon were well adrift in the opening heat which Wolves won 5-1.

A 5-1 in between two 3-3's had the Bees 16-8 down before Harris and Roynon took a re-run heat five 5-1.

A 4-2 to Wolves in heat six prompted a delay to let the sun go down before a twice re-run heat seven saw Kus and Ed Kennett excluded and Kenni Larsen take the victory ahead of Ty Woffinden who had a problem with his bike.

Heat eight was also twice re-run and ended up in a 3-3 but two 4-2's in the next two heats, had Coventry only a point down with five heats remaining.

A 4-2 in heat eleven had The Bees in front and a win for Ed Kennett in heat twelve for a 4-2 put Coventry 37-34 ahead.

Heat Thirteen was re-run and produced a 3-3 but in heat fourteen, Coventry pressed home their advantage with a 5-1 thanks to some good riding from Larson and Cameron Heeps to lead by five points going into the final heat.

A 3-3 ended the meeting and gave Coventry a much needed 47-42 victory.

The Bees remain ninth in the Elite League table, a point behind Wolves with a game in hand.
