Coventry Bears Up To Third

Coventry Bears Rugby League Team beat Bramley Buffaloes 28-18 at the Butts Park Arena this afternoon.

Coventry were ahead after two minutes when Tawanda Chipadza showed pace from 20 yards to score with Steve Coleman converting for a 6-0 lead which was doubled in the 16th minute.This time, Brad Massey stretched over to score and Coleman converted.  

Bramley scored an unconverted try in the 26th minute and a converted try six minutes later, to go within two points but in the 38th minute, some quick passing saw Chris Dixon saw and Coleman converting to give The Bears a 18-10 lead at the break.

Two minutes into the second half and Coventry scored again through Ryan Jenkins for a try convered by Coleman.

Back came Bramley with two unconverted tries but in the 63rd minute, Ash Johnson rounded the defence to score and give the Bears a 28-18 victory which lifts them to third in the table.
