Coventry's Neil Simpson will be aiming to be £25,000 richer when he takes part in Barry Hearn's successful Prizefighter boxing series on Tuesday May 19 at Earls Court, West Kensington, London.

This latest of this thrilling all-in-one-night tournament is the strongest ever so far, providing a wealth of ex-European, Commonwealth, British and English champions.

Joining 'Simmo' Simpson, the former British and Commonwealth light-heavyweight champion and current holder of less-regarded British Masters Cruiserweight title, in the eight-man field will be Belfast's popular Darren Corbett, Terry Dunstan, Dean Francis, John Keaton, Mark Krence, Bruce Scott, and West Ham fan Micky Steeds.

The 38-year-old from Willenhall has a professional record of winning 26 of his 45 fights. In his last outing back in December at ExCel Arena, London he failed to come out in the third round against Zimbabwe's Finchley-based 'Del Boy' Derek Chisora.

Tickets cost £25 (unreserved) and £50 (reserved, ringside) and are available by calling 0870 264 3333 or 01277 359900, otherwise you can catch all the action on Sky Sports.
