Coventry City Ladies are through to the Semi-Finals with a 1-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

In order to get this Birmingham County FA Cup Third Round tie played, this game was move to Moat House and saw both sides looking to attack from the start.

City's Kirsty Robson and her opposite number Danni Selmes both fired at the keeper in the opening seconds before Leanne McKenna head a Male corner over and Robson drilled a right footed twenty yarder wide.

City made their pressure pay in the 14th minute when Jade Formaston got into a central position, twenty yards out and rifled a shot into the roof of the net.

McKenna and Crissy Torkildsen had chances either side of a 26th minute Wolves corner.

City were denied a 57th minute penalty when McKenna was sent crashing in the area under pressure from Widdal who had to be replaced in the 70th minute with an ankle injury.

Wolves captain Anna Perks was also unable to resume when the game restarted after an eight minute delay and the visitors, due to only having one substitute, were forced to play the final twenty minutes with ten players.

City's player of the match Leanne McKenna went inches wide with an 81st minute header from a corner and with two minutes of time remaining, a good move saw Helen Dermody carved her way into the area and fired in a shot that Hall did well to push round for a corner as City did enough to book their Semi-Final berth.
