Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that he was pleased to have taken a training session with Coventry City Ladies on Wednesday night.

The City boss and assistant Steve Kean took charge of sessions from the U10's up to the first team.

Said Coleman to Fair Game: "Tuesday was a difficult night for us and to come here this evening and see the enthusiasm of everyone involved has really put a smile back on our faces. I've personally been impressed with the set up here and the intensity of the girls - they've really concentrated and bought into what we've been teaching."

City Ladies first team boss Paul Cudby (pictured below) was happy with the way the players responded to Chris and Steve taking the training and said: "They worked very hard and enjoyed the session. Both myself and the rest of the coaching staff also took a lot of positives away from the experience. Chris and Steve are at the top of their profession and to give up their time and energy in the manner they have tonight has been tremendous."

City Ladies will be hoping to put this into practice when they take on TNS/Shrewsbury on Sunday in a Midland Women's Combinaton fixture at Coventry University's facilities in Westwood Heath Road.
