Coventry Blaze won 2-1 on sudden death penalties at Fife Flyers on Saturday night.

Fife lead through a Gunn goal, assisted by Sloon and Stewart on 15.57 but Michael Henrich equalised on 51.07 with a powerplay goal, assisted by Adam Henrich and Ashley Tait.

Over-time failed to separate the teams so it went to penalties. Ryan Ginand and Chaumont scored so sudden death penalties were called for.

Ginand stepped up and missed, Roehl stepped up for Fife and had his penalty saved. Michael Henrich went next and scored and when Chaumont had his penalty saved, Blaze took a 2-1 win.
