Sheffield Steelers earned their second win of the weekend over Coventry Blaze with a 4-1 victory at the Sky Dome tonight.
Ashley Tait fired the visitors ahead with a power-play goal on 11.40 and on the half hour mark, Neil Clarke added a second.
Any hope of getting back in the match ended in the 44th minute when Sheffield scored two goals in the space of eighteen seconds thanks to Robert Dowd and Tait again.
Dan Carlson netted a consolation powerplay goal for Coventry on 48.50, assisted by Luke Fulghum and Greg Owen.
