Coventry Bees Speedway Team were beaten 48-43 at Kings Lynn tonight.

With John Grajczonek guesting for the injured Adam Roynon, the Bees went down to a 5-1 defeat in the opening heat.

Stuart Robson hit back in the second with a win which saw a point for Grajczonek before it was 12-6 to the home side in a re-run third heat which saw Zengota fall.

Kings Lynn took two 4-2's, so Scott Nicholls had the tactical ride and finished third for a 5-2 to the Bees in heat six.

Former Bees rider Rory Schlein could not stop Zengota from winning heat seven for a 4-2.

Kings Lynn took a 4-2 and then a 3-3 but in heat eleven, Krzystof Kazprzak won in a 5-1 for the Bees. That cut the Star's lead to three points but it was back to seven in heat twelve when Korneliussen and Smith rode to a 5-1.

Kazprzak then beat Schlein for a 4-2 but any hope of a victory ended in heat fourteen when Worrell beat Summers and Kings Lynn took a 4-2.

Kazprzak won the final heat for a 4-2 but the Bees went down to a 48-43 defeat.
