Bedworth Fight Back

Bedworth United came back from a goal down to beat Arlesey Town 2-1 and keep alive their hopes of avoiding a swift return to the Southern League Central Division.

A 47th minute Roberts penalty had given Arlesey the lead but Tom Liversedge scored in the 78th and 89th minute to give Bedworth the win.

Southern League Premier Division Champions Leamington FC finished their home campaign with a 3-2 win over Hemel Hempstead.

A crowd of 539 saw Johnson hit a hat-trick in the 31st, 45+2 and 60th minutes for Paul Holleran's side with Pearce scoring in the 55th minute and Massiat scoring in second half stoppage time.

In the Midland Combination Division Two, FC Stratford drew 2-2 with Alcester Town, Coventry Spartans won 3-2 at Henley Forest and Coventry Spires won 4-2 at Kenilworth Town.
