Coventry Darts player and City supporter Steve Beaton is through to the last sixteen of the William Hill PDC Grand Slam at the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton.
Beaton who lives in Southam, went into his final group game after losing to Phil The Power Taylor but beating Mervyn King.
He beat 19 year old James Hubbard to set up a Quarter-Final with Paul Nicholson. Beaton threw one 180, five 140+ and thirteen 100+'s to win 5-2.
