A Hull Of A Win For Blaze

Coventry Blaze beat Hull Stingrays 6-3 tonight in an Elite League match.

With Jurynec back for the Blaze at the Sky Dome tonight, Coventry had chances before they took the lead on 12.58 with Fussey scoring a powerplay goal.

Hull equalised on 14.22 with a Bakrlik powerplay goal before Jurynec and Campbell got five minutes for fighting just before the end of the first period.

On 29.40, Hull took the lead through Tendler but three minutes later, Coventry levelled through Guthrie.

One minute and twenty one seconds of the third period had elapsed when the Blaze were back in front thanks to Luke Fulghum finding the net.

The goals continued to flow with Hull equalising through Davies with a powerplay goal on 45.59. Then Fussey put the Blaze 4-3 up on 49.46 before Nell added a fifth forty one seconds later.

On 58.20, Fussey completed his hat-trick and wrapped up a 6-3 win for the Blaze who travel to Hull on Sunday with a goal assisted by Kralj and Domish.
