Coventry City will get to finally open their Family Zone before the home game with Leicester City on Saturday.

Situated behind blocks 32-35, of the CT Stand, the area has been given a £25k face lift and includes a club shop, refreshment areas and activity areas with Playstation games and the like.

City Mascot Sky Blue Sam will cut the ribbon along with some players not involved in the game on Saturday at 11am.

Liz Cooper, marketing director for the Ricoh Arena and Coventry City, said to the club;s website: "The club has always been committed to providing an enjoyable match day experience for our young fans at the Ricoh Arena, and a dedicated area will only enhance the enjoyment for current and prospective JSB members.

"The project also underlines the club's further support for the Football League's Fans of the Future and Enjoy the Match campaigns, which are both aimed at encouraging even more families to attend matches at their local club."

The new Family Zone will be heavily stewarded and a zero tolerance approach to bad language, anti-social behaviour and all forms of discrimination, will be strictly applied.
