Closing In The Corners

Coventry City are considering closing the corner blocks of the Tescos stand nearest the visitors and by the Coventry Telegraph Stand in an attempt to improve the atmosphere.

The blocks in Zone 3, which are where cheaper season tickets and deals including the current seven game discount are located would be sectioned off, forcing supporters into two stands.

With supporters sat together, it is believed that there would be a better atmosphere in the stadium, although some have said that removing supporters from the scoreboard area would prevent a fans crossover point for trouble and allow better segregation outside the Arena.

Sky Blues Chairman Ray Ranson said at the Fans Forum last night that nothing had been decided and this was just one idea being discussed.
