Former Coventry City midfielder Aron Gunnarsson played for Iceland in a friendly defeat against France at the Stade du Hainaut in Valenciennes.
Gunnarsson captained the side which took a 28th minute lead through Bjarnason in the 28th minute and then added a second through Sigthorsson.
France pulled one back through Debuchy in the 52nd minute and levelled through substitute Franck Ribery in the 85th minute.
With three minutes left, Rami hit a thundering drive home from inside the area to give France a 3-2 victory.
