Warwickshire County Cricket Club finally got to bat on the second day of their County Championship game against Sussex at Horsham.
Sussex resumed on 314/7 and added ninety nine to their over night total before Boyd Rankin bowled Lewis Hatchett to see the home side 413 all out.
Warwicks lost Ian Westwood for two and Will Porterfield for twelve but Varun Chopra and Jon Trott came together and put on a stand of 125 before Chopra was out for 81 caught behind by Brown to give Hatchett a wicket to along with that of Porterfield.
Jon Trott was unbeaten at stumps on 62 as Warwicks closed on 163-3 after sixty overs.
