Coventry City captain Stephen Wright is up for Saturday's home game against Bristol City.

The 29 year old told the Birmingham based Sunday Mercury: "No-one wants to go into an international break off the back of a defeat, especially such a bad one like we had at the weekend.

"The beauty about this league is that your next game is never usually too far away so you can always put things right after a bad game, but the international break has meant we have had to mull things over for longer than we would have liked.

"We have got three or four players away on international duty so it is difficult to get that feeling that you are getting a response because not everyone is training. But I am sure that will happen when they come back this week.

"There will be a response and whoever the gaffer picks for the Bristol game has to give a reaction.

"It is good that we have got a home game in front of our own fans and we can put it right."
