Worth A Read - Coventry's Biggest Victory At Wembley Could Be New Owners

Last updated : 30 March 2017 By CNS Sport

Worth A Read is the article by Brian Reade of the Daily Mirror which says that the biggest victory for Coventry City could be new owners.

Reade, who has backed the stance by City supporters against the current owners, over the years, makes some interesting points as does David Johnson from the Jimmy Hill Way campaign group, who urges all who are going to “celebrate what our club once was and could be again, rather than the sorry mess that it has become”.

There is no doubt that if Coventry City were to realise their potential then the fan base is there - the 43,000 plus who have tickets for Sunday's final are testamount to that as is the amount who are staying away from Wembley in order not to fund the likes of Seppala, Fisher, Venus and some of the club's employees, who will occupy the Royal Box and other areas of the national stadium on Sunday.

Ok, Sisu won't walk away without Seppala getting a decent return for her investors but if the right investors are out there and with ACL, Wasps and the City Council far more likely to come to workable agreements than with people who are dragging them through the courts, then the potential as to what Coventry City as a football club could achieve is limitless.
