Williams Not Happy With Loan

Adie Williams is not happy about being loaned out. The defender who is at Millwall until December without a recall clause said: "I am disappointed but that's football. "At the back end of last season I got injured against Cardiff just after Pagey came in - a game in which he wasn't allowed to play because he had just signed from them.

"Then this season I feel I had a good pre-season but I haven't had a look in apart from the Carling Cup match at Rushden. "I haven't played in the Ricoh Arena either, which is disappointing, but I live in hope. I will still have a year and a half on my contract when my loan runs out when I will come back and fight for my place.

"For some reason I am down the pecking order but that can't be based on form because I haven't played, and therefore not played badly, to be left out. I have enjoyed my time at Coventry but the fact is my options are very limited at this moment in time. So the best thing for me to do is get out on loan and play first team football.

"I will keep my head down and make sure I stay in good shape, and if I get given the chance again I will hopefully take it."
